Recommendations for a Good MOT Centre Near Blackburn?

Hey everyone,

My car’s MOT is coming up soon, and I'm trying to find a reliable MOT near me around the Blackburn area. I’ve checked out a few places online, but reviews are mixed, and I’d rather go somewhere trusted by fellow petrolheads.

Ideally looking for a garage in Blackburn that doesn’t try to upsell every visit and can handle a quick turnaround. Bonus if they also offer stuff like clutch replacement or general repairs – would be great to get everything checked while it's in.

Anyone got a go-to MOT centre in Blackburn or nearby that they actually rate? I don’t mind paying fairly if the service is decent and honest.

Not in Blackburn, but Petre Garage the other side of Langho are excellent - my family have used them for 20 years now, Steve and co are spot on.

As a family, we have used Kalu's for MOT's since 1989:

Loves his nice motors, although has been quite amused by some of the things we have taken to him for MOT, inc stripped out \ caged track cars.

Lovely chap, but never in a rush. Takes his time and loves to chat cars, doesn't mind if you want to have a glance under whilst up on ramps etc. Proper old school and all the better for it.

Martin and Scott are great. Genuine 4.9 star on Google reviews, they cover everything but specialise in Toyota GT4s and have customers travelling from as far as Scotland to see them

Is it a normal car MOT or are you after a ‘friendly’ mot centre for something modified?
Not been for a few years but I used to use Cams in Darwin to look after my Impreza who also arranged MOT’s to be done and never had an issue.
