OVO Anytime charging sessions issues.
Discussion
Per title, has something changed or been updated in the OVO Charge anytime app or system?
The charger is a Hypervolt Home Pro 3 but can see from Internet searches that others had a similar issue over a year ago with various chargers.
Been 5 months working perfectly. The OVO Anytime app controls the charger. Scheduled low rate charging sessions are declared by OVO and the scheduled times appear in the Hypervolt app.
Few days now the app just says "Your energy provider has not scheduled any upcoming charging sessions."
Normally by now it would show the overnight session times and any additional sessions during the day and early evening, if any.
Don't charge every day, sometimes only once or maybe twice during the week, so car not normally plugged in. It's handy to know session times to fit in as convenient.
For now the only way is to go out, plug the car in, fanny around forcing a brief emergency charge, then knock it off and it seems to reset for that day. After the next proper charging session back to the issue.
Anyone else?

I have OVO Charge Anytime too although using a OHME charger, I was told by the installing engineer to use the OHME app to set the charge not the OVO one, this has worked pretty well since last August, my only grumble being it doesn't always hit the target percentage, usually 80% but sometimes I have aimed for 100% and it's not quite done it.
Problem is the car is not in the list of compatible cars, so as I understand it will not get the smart charge cheap rate.
The Hypervolt is compatible but in order to get the smart charge cheap rate you cannot drive it from the Hypervolt but have to link it to the OVO app which then controls when it charges. Either in one of the pre declared sessions or if you enforce an OVO app driven "emergency" charge as they call it, the latter being at full tariff rate.
OVO forum suggests that deleting the charger from the OVO app and then reconnecting it fixes the issue. It doesn't in my case.
Just been out, plugged it in even though fully charged, within seconds it's registered, updated and next 2 potential charging sessions declared, 21:30 start, 05:30 finish with a half hour break around midnight.
Unplugged car now and it's back to normal showing sessions as above.
Might have to give them a call, wondering if they're trying to nudge people into keeping plugged in more often, ie per the Power Flex option. Not signed up to that.

There is also an OVO Charge Anytime Facebook group, it might be worth joining and asking on there, I've not experienced anything you have mentioned I'm afraid.

Update. Hypervolt totally clear problem is with OVO. They replied the same day that I emailed.
OVO despite their we aim to reply in 3 to 5 working days eventually 11 working days later replied with
"Thanks for letting us know it's now working.. plus some more guff"
My reply to the effect that "I've not told you it's now working because nothing has changed. It's still the same as in the first mail... etc"
Useless twerps, will give them to end of month and will then phone.

No it's unlocked. Maybe I'm being picky but the issue is that it doesn't show upcoming cheap sessions until have plugged the car in. Then it finds the next session and will charge. After the charge it goes back to saying no planned sessions until the next time plug the car in. Rinse and repeat.
Yet for first 6 months since installation it's shown possible sessions every day which were updated through the day, regardless of whether car plugged in or not. Which was very handy as I could look at the schedule, see there was a cheap session from 10am to 2pm, say, and know I could plug it in to get a quick and cheap top up during the day.
So what has changed? Hypervolt say it's not them.
Might try to knock the power off and reset. Though all the indications are that the charger is working and connected correctly to WiFi, Hypervolt and Ovo servers. The app certainly shows the household power consumption in real time so the charger is working.

I’m on Charge Anytime with a non compatible car (Smart #1). I have an OHME charge port. As a previous poster said I use the OHME app and don’t use the OVO app ( I don’t even have it). It works faultlessly and is all controlled via the OHME app. I charge every day as I do 25k miles p.a. .
Why don’t you just plug the car in when not in use? There are incentives for this to do with balancing the grid, Power Shift is OVOs add on which earns you rewards. Just set your chargers app to 80% or 100% by 0730hrs each day whichever works for you.

That's fair comment but some days the car never moves and typically a charge once a week covers things nicely. Two charges definitely sorts it.
Also with the Hypervolt I have to use the OVO app to get the cheap rate. The Ohme was discounted because the mobile 3G signal is rubbish, no 4G.

Final reply from OVO.
There has been an update to remove visibility of the schedule within the charger app alleging "they shouldn't have been there."
Reading between the lines on the rest of it it seems the last paragraph of my second post this thread nailed it. It's to force control of charging through the OVO app, which was the case anyway if you wanted the cheap rate, and the way they're doing that is through nudging you towards the vehicle being plugged in more of the time.
