Hi All,

my wife's car went into limp home mode yesterday as i went to overtake on the motorway, nursed it home and bought a fault code reader.

Googl'ed it but there seems to be a wide ranging opinion on what could be causing this, some quite scary. I cleared the code and drove around the block, all seemed ok but i want to get it looked at.

Anyone seen this code before ?

Can you recommend a Mini Specialist in Surrey

Thanks in advance

Says its a misfire on cylinder 3, that's not scary. Probably easy to fix.

If you cleared the code and it doesn't come back it's just a glitch, and you will probably not see it again. Any garage will be able to check it out but as its not causing the fault again it may be difficult for them to pinpoint the issue.

Different car but my misfire was due to a coil pack. Under £50 for main dealer part (Ford) and a full 5 minutes to fit on the driveway,
