My piano black ski slope in my 2013 vantage has 2 of the very common slight hairline cracks where the nav screen is, has anyone replaced this or sent it away to Ecps to be have the black van meet removed and carbon skinned? Any ideas on costs to replace or re skin? Thinking of sending mine away to be re done but unsure.

Seems quite common on the piano black, on my previous 2012 Vantage I had mine replaced at about 9 years old due to cracks. Not many options out there, I just had a brand new part fit at dealers, the book labour time charged was about 90 mins but the OE part is expensive so it was about £800 total. However the elapsed time was 3-4 hours as they have to bond the new part onto the existing frame.

Mine was re-done by ECPS quite a few years ago. i.e not by me nor the previous owner, which is 9 years at least and it's still in great condition

That’s good to know. I quite like the look of the satin carbon. I might get in touch with them and see how long it takes.

Did you remove and post it off to them? How long did it take roughly?

Both of those carbon refinishes are looking excellent
