Two Stephen King films upcoming
Discussion
The Running Man and The Long Walk.
Can't see threads about these two, but to be honest I haven't really looked. Both due around summer/autumn.
The Running Man is (I hope) a much more faithful adaptation of the (very slim) book, rather than a remake of the Arnie film. I like the Arnie version, but it really isn't the book. One thing; if they've kept the book's end I will be shocked.
The Long Walk, now. Well, I never thought I'd see that on screen. That is a seriously haunting story. Written by a teenager, about teenagers in a (ahem) slightly awkward position.
Both stories are about gameshows in the not-too-distant future.
Just a heads-up really.
