Does anyone know how to reset the BMS in a 570?
My battery is charging, and has plenty of juice to open doors/windows etc...but the car wont start.
Im told i might need to reset the BMS, but there's not much information online about how to actually do this?

Usually, "not starting" means not pressing the brake pedal hard enough.

Assuming it isn't that, I'd think disconnecting / reconnecting the battery would reset it?

What does the dash display ref days left in the battery etc.
Does everything else electrically operate? Lights, seats, iris etc.

Try starting the car with the charger connected to the battery port in the frunk, may help.

Hi mate, as already suggested, are you defo pressing the brake pedal hard enough?
Is it easy to turn ignition fully on WITHOUT pressing brake pedal?
Any 'key not found' messages on cluster when trying to start? If so, try new key battery and reposition key in car close to front of centre console.
Someone has already asked but good to know what the battery display is showing in percentage.
Let us know how you get on.

Is there a third party immobiliser fitted? Some times after the car has been in a 'deep sleep' mode (ie not used for a few days) even on a tender when you turn the ignition to on waiting several seconds before you attempt to start it might be required.

You don't really 'turn the ignition on'. You open the door to get in, which should take a couple of seconds anyway.

I was meaning more to press the start button to get all the dash lights and full display alight, not just accessories, wait a few seconds before then putting foot on brake and trying to start it.
