Anyone watching this absolute rude idiot?

Unbelievable television

Unbelievable behaviour

I’m genuinely shocked - though not surprised

Will ping a clip when over

Comedy english accent, worked for Steve Bannon, ridiculously keen on the sound of his own voice, purveyor of right wing nonsense and general purpose grifter.

I agree.

I do think he was right to put down Devonshire for interruptions when he was answering her questions: she deserved what she got IMO.

She needs to learn to STFU, that she isn't the news and to let idiots hang themselves.

Andrew Neil she is not. Loose Women News night shouldn't be.

(No longer surprised by US politicians. Idiocracy).

Gorka is a regular on Newsnight. He's always like that and it makes for good tv. VD knew what was coming and pushes him to the limits to get the desired result. He always threatens to quit the interview but never does. End result, he gets to play the hard man and she gets an edgy and tense interview. Win win. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they discuss it beforehand, like two wrestlers.

He is like a cartoon. Pretty much just laughing at him throughout.

He’s always like that on Newsnight, it’s a game, they both know the routine. The reason they keep booking him as it’s makes for good TV. They both probably have a good laugh about it after the show.

Yup, as I said above. It may be a news programme but they want to entertain the audience if they can.

Got to keep those ratings up … the show has already been cut in half. It’s only MPs and a few of us that tune in now and again

Wow. I mean we should not be surprised by the "on brand" messaging from Trump and his sycophants, but my god, the US is utterly screwed for the next 4 years and will take years to recover from the damage this bunch of wannabee gangsters is doing.

To be fair, that's not a bad attempt at a British accent. Certainly better than most 'ollywood toypes.

His formal role in the Trump administration is "senior director for counterterrorism".

You know he was born and educated in London, right? We produce these monstrosities as well

To be fair he's a Hungarian-Brit-American. His accent is correspondingly odd.

He’s nothing to do with the current administration and so, irrelevant.
Must be a cheap talking head for the lazy Newsnight lot to call when they want to have a Mrs Merton style ‘heated debate’ with la Derbyshire.

Fair enough, he is relevant to the administration.
But he’s still a lazy go-to for Newsnight.

Happy to have a pet.
