BearingUK - That UK Sound
Discussion
Just thought I would drop this in here... I subscribed to this youtube channel years ago, and he is back with new documentaries.
Part 6 trailer:
27 videos all together, but the latest series has 8 episodes... the bit i am most interested in, the start of rave in the 80's, through the 90's. He has older documentaries about jungle, ragga, dub & sound systems, pirates, MC's & D&B, acid house, garage and bassline.
If you have any interest in ravey stuff I reccomend from episode 6.4 onwards, vibing out to ep 6.5 now
I didn't start going out out untiul 2001 so i was too young for proper rave, more the superclub era, but it just looks mental...

Thanks for posting, as an oldskool raver (56 now), I like watching old documentaries on the subject, and had not seen this channel.
You missed a great time to be young, I went out from 87, through the acid house days, and then the early rave scene, eventually getting bored in 94 after the criminal justice bill killed the original scene.
It just got too commercial for me after that, and there were no 'raves', just club nights and huge organised, legal, music events and festivals.
I preferred the early underground days, but each to their own.
