Sleep and headphones…
Discussion
For various reasons, I honestly can’t get to sleep without having some form of sound. I usually listen to history podcasts on an iPad with no headphones, but for various reasons (including wife) I want to find some form of headphones I can wear in bed. They would need to be wireless, as comfortable as possible, and not fall out.
Any ideas? I have looked, but most seem to be in ear, which wouldn’t work for me, or noise cancelling, also irrelevant.
Sound quality is irrelevant, it’s just speech, so maybe one of those fleecy headbands?

I use these. Have done for years. They're absolutely spot on. The earphone part is flat and i barely if at all notice that I'm wearing them.
After a few months of wear the band stretches a bit. So, I simply buy a new one.
Shirt - I totally get what you mean, but white noise doesn’t work for me. For some weird reason, I need to fall asleep to something something about ancient history, and if I wake up during the night I can’t cope without hearing voices.
My god, that sounds weird lol…

Ordered. Cheap enough for a try.

I'm exactly the same. Neither white noise nor music works for me. Silence certainly doesn't. Shirt - I totally get what you mean, but white noise doesn’t work for me. I bought one of these.
The quality isn't amazing but it works.

I had one of the cheap Amazon ones. It was great, except it always used to wake me up with an irritating “low battery” warning.
Upgraded to these: https://www.soundcore.com/uk/products/sleep-a20-sl...
They’ve got some cool features but not sure they’re worth the extra.

I've struggled for years with sleeping. The usually stuff, but sleep earphones have been a revelation for me.
Low battery is too much a risk of waking up during the danger hours, so I use the below. Tuck the cable over the headboard so it falls down to my head... Keeps up with tossing and turning.

Random podcasts, mostly talk radio where I'm not missing anything whatever time I wake up/go back to sleep, and queue up enough to keep me going all week.
