Has anyone here replaced the single-engine mount on a 981 that sits in front of the serpentine belt, and what road did you go down?

I suspect mine is on its way out however the is a black rubber washer that protects the bush, which is blocking any inspection, so at this point, I'm only guessing.

It looks to be a pita to change, and the official doctrine is to drop the engine although I believe you can do it with the engine in situ, just at the expense of your knuckles and your sanity.

Porsche also doesn't sell the bush on its own, so you have to buy the metal back at a cost of around £600.

Alternatively, I could fit a yellow Powerflex bush for £100 which I have done on other cars with good results, though I'm a bit hesitant to do it on a Porsche because there are no user reviews that I can find.

Opinions and experiences welcome.
