Every year for the last 12 years I have to over seed due to a combination of shade, clay soil and wear and tear. Last year I had the lawn pack, this year I will not be over seeding because it still looks so good.

Read and follow the instructions, don’t do it too early as the ground is not warm enough yet in shady areas, 100% recommend it.

Yep it works, although the very wet winter spoilt a lot of the good work.

Another positive vote here - I used it last year and the lawn looked great all summer. The kids & dogs have turned it into a mud bath over the winter so I ordered another pack a few weeks ago and am waiting for slightly warmer weather to use it.

Like everything it's worth putting in the effort with the prep, but once scarified & aerated the pack instructions are nice and easy to follow. The hardest part is stopping the birds eating the seed.

Roughly 2 weeks between these pics (14th May to 1st June)

I was thinking about something like that. I'm not so steady on my pins these days though ... I could forsee me getting stuck in those.
