A ferry from Helsinki to Tallin is where I first had it (along with reindeer stew).

Ferry full of pissed Finns taking advantage of cheap (to them) booze.

If it is no longer available OP you have my sympathy. In the late 80’s - early 90’s, I got a taste for Moosehead lager. It was lovely on draught and unusually, equally delicious bottled. I managed to get my last few bottles from an off-licence in York in 1994. I still miss it!
