Anyone watching?

I’m in Cumbria where it is sadly cloudy, but it is *just* starting to get a little bit dimmer.

I remember the last total eclipse when I lived in Cambridge, was a phenomenal experience, very very spooky.

I’ve got a Dwarf 3 and it takes some amazing photos/videos/Timelapse’s etc.

I didn’t realise there was a Timelapse, I was taking some shots of the sun, went to take another and there it was so I quickly went into Timelapse mode and ran two Timelapse’s joining them in iMovie.

Had a nice view of it down on the south coast.

Partial solar eclipses are not that rare - I've seen a number of them over the years. However, I hate missing them when there is one viewable from where I am.

I had a great view when some thin clouds passed in front of the sun and obscured it just enough to enable direct viewing.
Tried to get a photo but no luck.

I was listening to a Spanish radio station and they were all chatting about the eclipse. Seems it was best seen in Galicia.

I missed that they were talking past tense (they speak so quickly) but heard 1048am so as it was 1030am I continued driving to work and got out and took video with my phone.

Didn't see nought.

Then I remembered that Spain is an hour ahead laugh

There's a decent one visible from the UK in August next year. This is the view from the central south coast, though the coverage is lesser the further north you go.

I meant to look into how to get a got photo but completely forgot until 11am when I just stacked all the ND filters I had onto the front of my camera, set it to f-lots and snapped this:

This was from Norwich.
