New delivery of DB12 Volante yesterday
Discussion
They couldn’t do the carbon in time on the interior as the cut outs didn’t arrive in time so they just used plain PPF
Does anyone know what would make a good dash cam for the DB12? I know it would be need to be professionally installed and the thought of going to Halfords horrifies me. Any ideas?

Everyone has their own view on ‘best dashcam’, however I’ve had much success with BlackVue and have a local installer who does great installation work on our cars (including my Vantage - pictured here). I would agree to avoid the ‘H’ place and if you do it yourself, avoid the cheap Chinese stuff on Amazon, EBay, Temu & Alibaba. You’ll pay more for a decent camera & install, however it is so worth it!Stark999 said:
So, finally the car arrived. Went to Western Ave Stratstone
You probably met Dudley Wilson (Dealer Principle at AML Western Avenue) - he was Dealer Principle at Sevenoaks Aston Martin until Lithia (Pendragon/Stratstone) sold the business to Marshall’s last year and Dudley moved to Western Avenue.VantageHead said:

The software has not put a single step wrong and no issues on any level. Couple of very small things - not detecting the key on start up - but dealer said it’s better to use keyless. It’s soooooo smooth and such an achiever, comfortable and powerful and it turns so many heads too
Looks good, and on the picture you can see you have indeed the latest big sw upgrade, that is much better than that of earlier cars! Looking good, congrats!!!
You can do PPF protection for the screen, too. This avoids finger prints and dust.
I also would recommend to get PPF on all of the other Piano Black parts, as you never can avoid that these getting scratched and look filthy.
Enjoy your new ride, weather seems to improve for open top driving
