I've got a pair of Opticron 10x50s WF (wide field) and they are excellent for the money (under £100 Black Friday last year), bright image, obviously 10x mag, but I doubt you'll get much more for £100, unless the objective lens is smaller, which will give a darker image. Great for general purpose use and astronomy (recommended for astronomy), I can easily see the moons of Jupiter when they are mounted on a tripod (mount included too), incredible what you can find in the night sky with them. Really pleased with the quality. They are about 880g, so probably a bit chunky if you are out for a long walk.

I've always matched my bins to my rifle optics, so that you get the same picture with each, which makes matching the image easier when swapping one to the other.

I assume you'd be using them for shooting otherwise why mention the rifle scopes?

Anyway, Vortex make some decent, reasonably priced stuff.

dont be tempted to go too high a magnification, you wont be able to see as much due to shaking,

stick to 8x or 10x

Got some opticron 10x42's for general use, really clear and iirc, a good price. I wouldn't hesitate buying another pair of opticrons.

A mazon has some Nikon 10x42's on sale at the moment at £109, Nikon are normally pretty good.

you might need to go into a bit more detail what you want to use the binoculars for tbh. anything more than 10x isn't easy to hold and imo if you want to be using them for something hunting related in low light, you're going to want as much exit pupil as possible so that means large objective lenses relative to magnification.

There are a lot of binoculars on the market.

This site will (hopefully) help you narrow things down.
