Going Cooper S shopping...

Hi All,

Going shopping tomorrow for a Cooper S for the wife.

Looking for one 2-3 years old and to pay up to £12k.

It seems like the Chili pack is a neccessity and probably the panoramic sunroof.

Any tips or advice?

A Chilli pack (including sports suspension) and 16" wheels makes for a very crashy ride. If it is for the missus, get her to take it along some not so good roads to see if she likes it or not before purchase.

Also the power steering pump whines like a be-atch!

Although to be fair we had ours about 6 months after they came out so they may have fixed stuff since then...

Black with silver 'viper' stripes.

Chili pack, 17" alloys, aircon and xenons.

It's great!

Now where was the number for BBR...
