BMW i7 / 7 leasing thread, March 2025 offer.
Discussion
Creating new thread, to exchange experience on i7 / 750e model leasing deals which were offered in March 2025.
I went for factory order of 750e Excellence. Initial deal advertised on Central Vehicle Leasing website was 1 + 23, £580, 6K miles for Excellence and a bit more for M-Sport.
In my case, cost went a bit up, 10K miles and couple of options:
-free colour
-free white seats
-19" Aero style 904 alloy wheels 385, any bigger wheels too expensive to add to lease
-Sun Protection Glass 495
-Integral Active Steering 1250
-Automatic Doors £1485
-Parking Assistant Professional £440
Total cost of options £4055, uplift in leasing price went from £15840 to £18824, so there's about £1000 of residual value after adding options. All negotiated with Brighton dealership with retail salesman. Gatwick Business team never got back to me. And yes, I know, don't add options to lease car, but didn't want to drive poverty spec 7 series. It's a shame that at the RRP price of £105K it's missing so many convenience options.
Estimated delivery Q1 2026, which works for me, because I have another car on lease ending in 2026. Never had to wait longer than 5 months for factory order, so that will be interesting experience.

Congrats on your order - will be a long wait but worth it as you will love the car, despite the size. Assume the funder was BMW FS?
I collected an i7 excellence 50e in sapphire black, black individual leather last week. Car was in stock and there were several across the country (at the time of ordering) with the exact same options. These being, 20inch alloy upgrade, front & rear comfort packs, technology plus pack, iconic glow crystal LED lights, sun protection glass, integral active steering, automotive doors and free front & rear rubber mats.
£2k deposit, 6k miles and £510 p/m. I didn’t get much of a sense on the impact of certain options as the car was in stock but you are absolutely right that across BMW & Mini certain options almost pay for themselves. Appreciate this is a Mini example; I secured a Mini SE lease with upgraded alloys, Level 2 and 3 tone roof (2k deposit, 6k miles, 23 months at £180pm) for my wife in Feb before they moved to the agency model. With Mini, you basically add Level’s (packs) to the base spec and as you move up the levels you get more equipment. I had originally ordered a Level 1 but discovered if I went for a Level 2 ( which brought a pan roof, HK sound system and sun protection glass) it worked out £10 more pm despite being over £2k in additional cost.
Back to the 7, you choose wisely in adding the integral active steering as it really makes a difference with low speed manoeuvres. I would have preferred a M Sport but I didn’t have the option and to be frank the deal was too good to not go for it despite it looking like a limo. You will get lots of questions - I certainly have from my neighbours but I actually do not dislike the looks. Although I think 21 inches would look at lot better but hey can’t have everything. All in all, I’ve very happy and just love the B&W diamond sound system - just epic.

Do you know if they allow free cancellations? I might have missed it this time but if any more deals pop up I would be happy to order for December/ January if there is little risk should better deals come up for other vehicles. As both of our deals were direct with a dealer, at least in my case, a deposit will be payable I.e £250 or £500 at the time of order to lock you in / secure the car. So if you did, you would need to accept there is a high chance you will lose the deposit. Some dealers even push for £1000 in my experience. Then again, I cancelled my wifes Aceman order a week before delivery and received the £250 deposit within days without a fight. All depends on the dealer / salesman.

If you are interested in an i7, select car leasing are currently adverting the following deal https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/bmw... but suspect, if you don’t mind a bit of nagging you car secure a better deal directly with a BMW dealer.
Interesting. I will probably enquire directly with my local dealer and see, it’s been nearly 10 years since the last 7 series and dealing with alphabet so I have no clue what it’s like. With VWFS you can pretty much exit the deal after delivery also if you want to without losing money. Horizon 301 said:

I had to pay deposit of £1000 to secure the slot. That's dealer standard practice. Call around a few dealers today and you should be able to get the deal no problem. Finance is via BMW FS. £1000 is better than £5000 had I had to pay in 2015, to secure slot for Audi S8. At least, I earned extra airmiles for transaction and then got cash refund via cheque. nunp said:

You got enviable spec for the money, mine will be poverty spec in comparison. But I didn't need car now, so couldn't go for i7. Also, I don't think it would suit my needs. I drive mostly on motorways and at night and I like to go on longer drives and to Europe. After all, it's luxurious mile muncher. It will be long wait and a lot may change in my situation. At the moment, I plan to use it to commute to London (underground car park at work), but may use my other car for second place. May have to get private plate to hide the age.
To be honest, had I factory ordered an i7/7 I would have gone for a similar spec as you did maybe even the Technology plus but guess that would have increased the rentals by a lot despite any residual value uplift. I’m the first to admit I got lucky and moved fairly quickly though I did lose out on one at my local dealer so had to go to Manchester instead.
I do one long trip to Portugal every year (via ferry to northern Spain) so expect a decent range from the i7 versus a previous Mercedes EQE. I’m actually really looking forward to the journey - it feels effortless on the motorway and to be fair country roads as it just smooths all the imperfections. In stark contrast to mi wife Mini Aceman which is the total opposite.

Hello, congratulations on the new car! I was was wondering how you have found driving and parking the i7 on UK roads and car parks so far, given the size and is there anything else to be aware of? What did your neighbours ask? I collected an i7 excellence 50e in sapphire black, black individual leather last week.
