Basically as the title says - who's your go-to for used watches in the slightly lower end of the market? I'm in London, but don't mind buying online. I've bought a few pieces from a guy in town, but I'd like to know where else I should be looking after a less than stellar experience last time around.

Adam.

Yeah, Hackett are my go-to for the pricier stuff, but I'm quite enjoying cheaper stuff for a bit of fun at present (and it allows me to buy a new one every month!), but I'm struggling to find somebody good.

Why not buy off eBay?

The selection of stuff being sold on there is absolutely massive, especially in the price bracket you suggest. The choice will be huge.

I've bought all kids of watches on there from a £30 Casio to a Rolex and never had any issues.

That's a fair point - it's not a place I routinely go for anything, but I'll have a look and see what they have now....

Neil at Chronomaster worth a mention.

Bought and sold with him. Completely hassle free.

They got rid of fees for private sellers about 5 months ago, so there has been a significant increase in stuff being listed on there. I'm fairly sure you will find absolutely everything and anything listed in the watch category now.

Thanks, will check that out.

And yes, actually very surprised how much was on eBay for just one search. The only difficulty is kind of curating what I'm after - I quite like how dealers just 'suggest' stuff you've never seen before and then you end up buying.
