Souvenir de La Coupe Gordon Bennett En 1903

Hi All,
I've recently taken over the former premises of Pullman Gallery in St James's in London. On the advice of Scrump I've added my website to my PH profile and he stated that it was fine to list an item I have for sale in this particular section.
So what we is an original and very rare copy of the recap book for the 1903 Gordon Bennette race which was held in Ireland in 1903. This is a post race souvenir book for the 1903 race (in French). The book has 39 pages with a large number of images of the cars that took part, as well as behind the scenes images. My particular favourite is of the grandstand they simply built entirely over the racetrack.
The front of the book is embossed with the Gordon Bennett trophy and is gilded. I've seen pre race publicity pamphlets for other races in the Gordon Bennett series, but never one of the souvenir books for this particular race which was held in Ireland.
