This one's all about the noise rather than the video.

This one wont be beaten, completely captures the spirit of the event both on and off track!

Do look at the 1984 video. You have Roger Dorchy's WM jumping into an early French lead, only to turn left at the end of the Mulsanne straight. There were the new Porsche 962s, and the American Tullius XJR5 Jaguars, with a Joest (I wonder what happened to them) 956 winning. Lots of odd and interesting cars in those days - Lancia, Mazda, Rondeau, March, Nimrod, Tiga, Lola, ADA and Ecosse

Then you have to look at 1985 and...............

Hopefully, some guys will get this.
Le Mans Classic 2022 - GT40 getting into it's stride at night.
Chevron does its best to wipe the GT40 out at the begining.

Love the way he gets settled in, but I am biased.
99 Days to the Classic and two parade laps booked.

Not contemporary but hope you enjoy it -

Totally agree with you on the 1984 video by (Duke Marketing), Roger Dorchy lead the race in 84 for a few laps and the place erupted as a French man from Le Mans was leading the race until he lost it under braking at the end of the Mulsanne, I was there in 84. 86, 57 and 88. In 1988 he clocked 251 mph through the speed trap on the straight which I believe is still a record. Group C was just the best racing, One of the Tullius XJR5's was on display at the NEC classic car show last year. Occasionally there is a Group C revival races which brings back the memories of a great and quite possibly the best era of Le Mans cars.

For me watching the 2023 race live when the rain came was utterly capitivating, staggering and scary all at once, the onboard with Bamber when Mordor appears is one of the scariest thing I have ever seen at a race, and then seeing how much he was still pushing.

One of my American friends has been slowly uploading a whole host of videos of older races. Such as this 1995 review:
