Window fuses keep blowing

Gents, help

suddenly my passenger window keep blowing the fuse,

So situation is, 1997 car,

Window is all the way down, on passenger side and when i press the switch it blows the fuse, so i thought its got over loaded

So tried with new fuse, drivers side it works fine.

Swooped the switches around, passenger switch works fine on drivers side window. so not the switch

Unplugged the motor in the passenger door, Same result, as soon as i press the passenger side door window switch it blows the fuse.

I am stuck, its not the switch, it can't be the relay as drivers works. I thought it was the motor, but i've unplugged it

Is there a relay? Mine is a '99 and because they are always live (windows can be operated with no key in the ignition), I presumed they are hardwired to a supply. The is no master switch like in some cars, just one switch per window.

I'd suspect a short somewhere between the switch and the motor. Another test would be to swap over the window motors, plugged in just to test (they are sided so can't be swapped permanently)

Yes there is a relay. But that must work as the drivers side works fine, it also can't be the motor as it blows the fuse when it's not plugged in.

I'd be checking for broken wires in the door-to-body conduit.

As TwinKam says check the wiring as it enters the door.

the little black plug on top of the motor is where I had a ton of corrosion causing slow\intermittent windows worth a check\clean\silicone while your in there.
