Following on from my "Reading" thread, I've decided to move out of the "budget hotel" there and also get out of a big busy town.

Any suggestions for a nice hotel, outside a town, perhaps between Camberley/Farnham/Woking area

Budget up to £200 per night (preferable less)

Thanks chaps, both look like they would have fitted the bill, I particularly like the look of the Elvetham (which was already on my shortlist)

I posted the question while I was sitting outside the Frimley Hall Hotel debating whether to bother looking, but I'm glad I did, the first room they showed me was good but I asked about a nicer view, so they offered me a deal on a suite with garden view, at the top of my budget but I took it, I feel I deserve a treat after a week in a budget hotel in Reading! rofl My brother and family live in and near Frimley so it's ideal.

Next stop for me is this weekend at Silverstone, then a trek to Cambridge to look at a fellow PHer's narrowboat, then back to Frimley for the week thumbup I might even drop in at SRR to say gday to Charlie...

Frimley Hall is very nice, I'm there for a wedding next week.

I've really enjoyed my stay here, I checkout on Saturday to head home frown

The suite turns out to be the bridal suite! I'm here on my own so it's a bit OTT (but I deserve it after Reading!!) I've been asking for volunteers to play the bride but no luck rofl

I'd probably say Foxhills or Pennyhill Park, slap bang in the middle....not sure about £200 though

Frimley Hall is part of a small chain. I used to have a 'gym' membership there but never stayed there. The Berystede a few miles away in Sunningdale is also nice with a similar setting and part of the same chain.

lol yeah I stretched (doubled) my budget for this room but happy I did! I'd never get anything like this in Perth (firstly because it doesn't exist, and if it did it would be at least double again!
