Teaser

Full Trailer will land tomorrow

What do we think so far...? It's obviously beautifully shot and has a strong cast. A bit 'Hollywood', but we knew that smile

If you watched the F175 livery launch event they showed a lot of behind the scenes and clips that we've not seen before in any trailer and it looks like the race scenes will feel pretty thrilling on an IMAX screen. Will definitely be seeing it a few times even if the plot is terrible!

It's going to look amazing on the big screen - I might even pay to go and watch it - but the first line of that teaser tells you exactly how they're pitching this. Just make the car faster in the turns, why did nobody else think of that, duh!? Maybe try this new thing I've just thought of called slipstreaming too. And remember, rubbing is racing, son.

Looking at the trailer, I think I’ll wait till it’s on telly to be disappointed.

It will be terrible, and longer than an actual race.

The few good films that have a lot of machinery in them are about something else:

Flight: About alcoholism and money
Crimson Tide: Battle of the generations
Aliens: Corporate greed
Top Gun: Gay love

You just know they're going to do the whole flat out...final straight... and the hero changes DOWN and accelerates past to win.
Rubbin' is racing..

Maybe I'm being unfair. As long as the Brundle Ultras from the Senna documentary are there I'll be happy..

Can't wait, I'll be down the Cinema on opening night with my popcorn in hand and moan the entire way through about all the mistakes.

I mean Brad Pitt is 61 years old, what's the chance of Alonso making that age and still being employed to help out Lance Stroll.

Well, he'll still be faster than Lance Stroll laugh

Looks bloody terrible laugh

Who's it aimed at? Anorak F1 fans won't be able to stomach the artistic licence, and no one else will be intrested in it.

I expect most of us Anoraks will watch it regardless of the artistic license and that it will be a VERY successful film, both in terms of box office and also bringing new fans to the sport.

It won't be my perfect F1 film, but it will be successful and clearly has a focus on making the viewer feel the experience of driving/battling in an F1 car, which we can all appreciate I expect!

Someone know's what they're doing

I'm sucker for a decent trailer (looking at your Suicide Squad!) so I'm definitely in for this one.

I think it looks fun.

I'm looking forward to it, more than any of the Drive to Survive series - which likes to retell recent history in the most entertaining way but not the most accurate or balanced way. I prefer something totally made up.

One not to watch. A cheese fest mass market film. Fine for those that like that sort of thing.
