Daughter has a low mileage Cooper that has started to stall on gear changes. It's always had a slightly erratic idle. I think I can swap out a few parts to resolve this , O2 sensor, map sensor, maybe new vanoeos actuators. Diy able?

Can anyone tell me what I need?

Thanks, we just put a new clutch in it which was about touch and go if we just get rid, now this.

The standard answer is to clear them all & then see what comes up again.

Unfortunately the Cam Position code is likely an indication of the need for a new camchain/guides etc and if you don't do them it could be terminal.

Needs to be checked out by a garage properly.

Thanks I think that could well be the cause as you say thinking about it. We have a friend in a local garage who will take a look. Appreciate the reply.
