I did search for the original thread but perhaps it has been removed.

Kyle Clifford has been given a whole life order for the rape and murder of his ex-girlfriend, and the murder of her sister and mother.

Let's hope, once this thread is done, we never hear his name ever spoken again.

With his self inflicted injuries hopefully it won't take too long before he passes.

The trail being recorded is good but it's a shame in this country that they don't show the facial reactions from the guilty when the sentence is passed.

He wasn't there. Can't comprehend what the family are going through, such a waste of life.

Yep, saw this and thought FFS, drag him in bodily if need be. Spineless turd, couldn’t face the consequences of his actions.

Interesting that he spent the night before he committed the rape and murders watching Andrew Tate videos. Something to think about for the handful on PH who support Tate.

IIRC he's paralysed from the neck down anyway, after failing to off himself, so all he could've done would be disruptive by shouting.

He deserves no agency or accommodations.

Yes - this case did get a mention in that thread last week. Appalling.

Yes, it's disgusting, although I can see why they wouldn't want to go through the ball ache every day of manhandling him in. However, there really should be something in place to compel the defendant to attend, once they've been found guilty.

Let’s hope he suffers every day, in every single way.

Weak, pathetic little stain on humanity.

Don't see the link personally.

I get it, AT is bogeyman du jour so everything bad is his fault. But this is a bit of a stretch.
I'm not suggested he committed the rape and murders as a direct result of watching Andrew Tate. But it's clear that Tate can negatively influence the easily led and weak-minded.

He pleaded guilty to the murders but not guilty to the rape and they had a trial on the latter charge. He was convicted but I really don't see what that achieved in real terms apart from a load more hurt for the family.

It's clear that AT is enabling the kind of toxic masculinity that people like this killer are attracted to. AT is grooming these losers to behave like this and to hold this toxic view of how women should be treated. The fact that this murderer chose to view AT material just prior to the crimes is very telling.

From the reports it sounds like the decision to proceed with the prosecution for rape was done with the family's consent and based on their wish to see Clifford punished in full for his depravity.

It’s been discussed many times and it’s hard to find a method that would work. A wheelchair bound prisoner with a gag isnt a great look for justice. Without a gag he could just laugh and smile at the victims families - after all he has nothing to lose.

I prefer to focus on the outcome which is life without parole. Shane it will be in a nice prison/ quasi hospital room given his needs, and not a cold cell on a remote draughty island.
