Foods and supplements for preventing and treating cancer.
Discussion
A Slovenian friend of mine says in part of his country they use pumpkin seed oil as a condiment. And in that area there is no prostate cancer.
Ikaria in Greece has the most long lived population in Europe. Interestingly men there have the same life expectancy as women. And pumpkin seeds have traditionally been an important source of calories.
So if you Google pumpkin seed prostate cancer you will find a scientific study that it works.
For the last decade I have spent at least a month every year in Ikaria. They have many different honeys and each has a therapeutic purpose. They told me that Arbutus (Strawberry Tree) honey treated cancer. I was sceptical of this till I Googled and found a study.
And now, of course, there is much interest in the science/medicine community about honey and its effect on cancer.
Back in Ikaria one of the first new crops of the spring is beetroot. So they eat huge plates of the stuff.
Once again Googling beetroot and cancer comes up with some very interesting results.

Slovenia - Country Cancer Profile 2023
among Slovenian men, the most common type was prostate cancer (24 %). This was followed by colorectal cancer (17 %), which holds a third place in incidence across the EU. Lung cancer was expected to account for around a tenth of all new cancer cases in both sexes (9 % among women and 12 % among men) in 2020.

We just had the ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium in San Francisco.
Professor Robert Thomas of Addenbrookes presented a research paper on the efficacy of a combination of Your Phyto (which is a phytochemical supplement) and Your Gut Plus (which is a probiotic supplement). Which works for some prostate cancers.
I cannot post links here yet. But everything I have posted is proven, actual science.
You just have to use Google if you are interested.

I've eaten a huge bowl of beetroot in Croatia. Just sliced beetroot, on its own. I never got cancer but I did nearly have heart failure when my pee turned purple. Once again Googling beetroot and cancer comes up with some very interesting results.

My partner is allergic to pumkin seeds and goes into anaphylactic shock if she accidently eats them. She also doesn't have a prostate so I am not sure this is the miracle food for her? I have prostate cancer, hence my interest in finding what works.I have Gleason grade 4+5. Total tumour length 62.5mm.
Instead of being sarcastic you could try fitting Google to your computer and look up the science.
Other foods associated with preventing/curing prostate cancer are nettles (which can be had as tea or smoothies) and tomatoes, where lycopene is the active ingredient.

I've just informed Cancer Research UK to close their offices. They were quite surprised that all their years of research and development did not reveal that pupkin seed oil and beetroot held the cure that they were looking for. "Well, bugger me" said a spokesperson.
I cannot post links.Go to Cambridge University Press.

Go to ScienceDirect.
C&P: Pumpkin seed extract: Cell growth inhibition of hyperplastic and cancer cells, independent of steroid hormone receptors
The Journal of Cancer Prevention had an article: Beetroot as a Potential Functional Food for Cancer Chemoprevention, a Narrative Review
