Hopefully we find some good news, or at least serve as a reference in the future for others in case.
These are some videos of me trying to get help to diagnose
1-if there is an added sound indeed
2-what is the sound
3-can I drive the car
It is a 2007 manual v8 with around 100k Km had it since 2020 Septemeber. The noise started when I pulled into the garage and noticed a "thudding" noise around few months back.
To be honest it happened after I wen to 7k RPM (and I did it after I heard the sound once or twice on other days.)
I also added a video of an issue I had since I bought it where the car makes weird metallic noise only at 1k RPM.
Went through bamford Rose videos like 4 times to try to diagnose.
It seems it can be one of the following supposedly:
A-Piston Slap
B-Big end bearing (Rod bearing in USA?)
C-Tappet shims whether exhaust or inlet
D- Gear chatter ?

I am hopping it is tappet shims that seems to be the least harmful. I have posted videos on a drive link so people can view or download for quality purposes.

Your link to the videos doesn't work for me, not sure why.

Maybe try again or put them up on YouTube so we can offer some assistance.

Tappet shim rattle is not a "thudding noise" though. A thud sounds much more like bottom end I'm afraid.

That "1k rattle" sounded to me like something on the exhaust, maybe a heatshield. It seemed to be activated at a resonant frequency

It is really specific, however on cold starts The car vibrates a lot again around 1k nothing under or over.

That's pretty normal for a rattle that's vibrating and resonating in sympathy with an input. It's probably picking up an engine frequency when the engine is doing 1000 rpm and it'll not vibrate outside of that specific frequency. If there's a difference between hot and cold engine then that may indicate that whatever is rattling is looser when the rattle is most noticeable.

If you're saying it rattles when cold and, as the engine warms up, the rattle diminishes and goes away then that is still indicative of something "tinny" being loose and being able to rattle when cold. Then, as everything warms up and the various metal components expand, the clearance reduces so that the joint becomes tighter and rattle-free.

I might have mislead you, The "rattle" is the metallic noise I get when I touch 1 k RPM. If I remember correctly it happens all the time whether idle or driving.
The cold start is chassis vibration + rattle and both of them are prominent only at 1k RPM.

It has been 4 years with this issue I just wrote it in case it is somehow related. What I am worried about is the other sound.

I'm not hearing anything there that concerns me particularly. The resonant sound at 1K sounds non-engine as others have said. I don't hear a worrying knock.
