Is any movie more feebly plotted than Ronin?
Discussion
I like the film but suspect it is much loved by many of the Internet fantasists who fail to see the connection between themselves and Sean Bean's character. They all know the colour of the boathouse and how to pronounce Hereford cos that's, like, really important...
It does have one of my favourite quotes however. If there is ever any doubt, there is no doubt...

On the basis that Seamus was the source of the original intel about the convoy, it seems perfectly plausible that he has other channels for obtaining information that might lead him to where the case is and where the main characters end up.
But yeah, either way I don't really care, far too enjoyable as a film and leans nicely into the whole MacGuffin thing too.

Don't. care.
One of the best 'real time' car chases on film!
Both DeNero and McElhone said that the scenes where they're driving towards oncoming traffic isn't them acting - it was genuine fear! One of the best 'real time' car chases on film!
There's an interesting 'making of' about the car chase sequences out there somewhere. Used a couple of retired F1 drivers IIRC.

Jaws : The Revenge. The concept that a solitary shark would travel to a location where two other solitary sharks had been killed to wreak revenge on a human family as if a shark even has a concept of what a human or a family is. Then add on that it apparently follows Ellen from Amity to the Bahamas.

Thing is, where a shark is killed, Sharks will stay away.Skii said:
Le Mans
Dreadful movie, incredible cars and racing sequences (even if they do appear to be doing 60mph on the Mulsanne Straight sometimes)
Oh thank you. Been saying this for years. Maureen's vanity project, and why not, but for me it's always been the cinematic equivalent of watching a slide show of your mates foreign holiday. Dreadfully boring but you'd feel impolite refusing...Dreadful movie, incredible cars and racing sequences (even if they do appear to be doing 60mph on the Mulsanne Straight sometimes)
