Bonnet vent paint colour?
Discussion
The driver side vent in the bonnet has lost its finish and is noticeably darker than the other one. The local dealer said people just spray them with a tin of paint from Halfords but couldn’t elaborate on specific colours.
I believe mine were “magnesium” when new at the end of 2009. Anybody done this for advice or can suggest the paint colour?
Thanks in advance

Another vote for Satin Black. Did mine two years ago and still look like new, Roughen the paint first to provide a key, two coats of grey primer and then two coats of black. Allow it to harden and then bolt the grills back in - one of the easier jobs to do on an Aston!
Now I'm wondering if they should match the side strakes, in which case silver may be the way to go.

That’s exactly what I did - sprayed them black, then realised the grilles behind the side strakes were silver / gunmetal grey, so I re-painted the bonnet grilles to matchNow I'm wondering if they should match the side strakes, in which case silver may be the way to go.
