Almost RS levels of power. Stock still an impressive 419hp.

They remap it?
I’ve tested link pipes in their own and no real power difference..

Yes, remap as well. For an NA car, the gains seem impressive.

Phil, what I can't quite work out (and I can't get them to answer the phone to clarify!) is if the remap is to purely code out the errors from the removed OPF's, or if it's also a remap of the power tune/bands, do you know?

Hey Kev. Not sure. I would assume both but presume most of the gain is down to OPF removal. You tempted?

It’ll be down to the remap on top of the pipes according to my testing

Initially I was, but after doing some research it seems RPM are evading the reality of what makes up the power gains. From what I have found on Youtube and various forums, the vast majority of people who've installed the link pipes have not seen power gains, so any power gains are made through a full ECU power map. Although my car is 3yrs old this summer, a full ECU remap is not something I want to do.

So in essence, if I go link-pipes only, then it's £2k + fitting, to save some KG and have a raspier sound. I'd ideally want to also see some un-mapped power gains if I was freeing up the restrictions.

Having said that, the sound is indeed much better than stock...

Yea, louder for sure. For more power without mapping, you’d need upgraded headers to go with the OAP.
