Sudden occasional pain right side of chest
Discussion
Have had this happen a few times over the past week-ish but twice today- driving home and sitting down half an hour ago. Only ever in the right side and it's a sharp, stabbing pain and I have to take shallow breaths until it subsides (typically within a minute) otherwise I get the stabbing feeling again.
A quick google obviously lists everything from minor to serious but how long do you leave something like that before seeking medical advice?
I'm assuming it's likely muscular given the localised area of the pain and the limited chest movement to contain it and it only seems to happen when I'm sat down, leaning back a bit i.e. driving or on the couch.
