2005 Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG
Discussion
Hello.
I've been the owner of this wonderful machine the last seven years. Every year I've taken it to Mercedes Eastbourne for a service and 'Health Check' and any issues highlighted have always been subsequently taken care of.
Here is a link to the latest of these health checks, carried out of 7th June 2024. All the items mentioned were seen to i.e. one blocked washer jet, third brake light out, and boot opening issue. It has also since had two new Continental Contact 5 rear tyres and a new numberplate.
I thought an interested buyer would also find it useful to see underneath the car.
Any questions, please fire away.

Hi. Thanks for the message. Answers to your questions below:
1. The brake pipes did not need replacing, just cleaning up. After this was done they have not been flagged as an advisory again, nor mentioned in the Mercedes main dealer's yearly 'Health checks'. The car passed its MOT with no advisories on 19th February.
2. Rust has never been an issue. The body is solid and there are no signs of anything to be concerned about in my opinion. Please see Mercedes' 'health check' video earlier in this thread to see underneath.
3. Yes, being a 55 plate, it is in the cheaper tax category.
I hope that helps.
