Mk2 Polo Original Radio

I'd get a Blaupunkt Bremen. Looks period correct but has all the bluetooth, USB, DAB+, SD card etc that you may want today

This looks like a good option so will keep it in mind but ideally want a period correct one, it's not a daily so happy to not have all the tech.https://blaupunkt.com/product/bremen-sqr-46-dab/

If you Want it 100% original, I'd start with a brochure/price list from the cars model year when new. That will have the factory optional radios etc
Then just do a weekly search on eBay.
What year is it?
I don't think I have a brochure/price list for it, its an 89 mk2, its a blaupunkt radio from what I have seen but not clear on the exact model Then just do a weekly search on eBay.
What year is it?

I replaced it with one of those pull out ones to avoid the risk of the car getting done over as was the thing in those days - before that I used to remove it with the 2 cut off coat hanger tools and unplug every time I left it (which was only once a week or so).
