As last year, trains departing Chichester on Sunday look challenging.
Just thought I'd give a quick heads up- trying to work out how I'm going to get home!

The rail network is a bit flakey at the best of times, on that line, on a Sunday. Where are you headed?
I’ve just checked my return journey on the Sunday, and it’s a RRB. Yeah, how about no. I guess I’m driving to and fro on the Sunday then. That’s a bit irritating, but it is what it is I guess.

Back to Liverpool, ideally, but may end up overnight in London.
The train to London Bridge may be ok, it seems the west coast line is the issue atm, probably striking.

If you return on Monday, Chichester hotels will have returned to "usual" prices on the Sunday.
So that might be an option over and above trying to return on the Sunday or stay in London Sunday night.

Drop me a PM, we're driving back to the Wirral on Sunday, you'd probably have to sit in the back of a 2 series Active Tourer with me but much easier than messing about with trains. We're staying down there Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

That's exceptionally kind of you!
I've only just seen the message, and booked the train on Friday as they appear to have got their act together.
I'll message you my number and buy you a pint over the weekend, we'll be down Friday afternoon.
I'm going to try not to get too smashed on Friday afternoon while waiting for the rest of our gang to arrive.. which may have happened last year!
Will DM you my mobile.
Thanks again smile
