Like a Free ride when you've already paid.

Is Irony like Goldy and Bronzy but made out of Iron?

That's not irony, that's an accident.

It would be irony if he was the person from the bodyshop driving the car to the paintshop and the person he rear-ended was the owner driving the bodyshop's loan car.

Little incident a while back with a particularly full of himself collegue defined irony for me.

I was collecting Walkers Crisp packets for the Books for Schools offer. The slogan across the top said "INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF READING". Said wide-boy picked up the packet and read the slogan in a slightly puzzled voice "International year of Reading? Why what's happening in Reading?"

Needless to say I could not speak as my sides hurt so much!

I would imagine there is one very embarrased person waiting till after dark to pick this car up and take it home and hide it behind a hedge, made me chuckle.
