Hi there,

I am on the mailing list for Nicholas Mee the Aston Martin specialists and today they have sent over their stock list which has the V8 Powered Cygnet on which is hitting the open market for the first time.

No price in the ad but having seen this car up close a few times I would say the engineering is superb and I for one (had I got the funds) would be straight on the phone to snap this thing up.

I was lucky enough to spend some time with Darren Turner (AM factory driver) and the car at a VMAX event back in 2020, it certainly proved a highlight of the day, quite a strange sight hitting the runway alongside some of the exotica that had turned up at the event,

Likewise, I’d snap their hands off.

Starter for £175k given sheer rarity and quality of underlying build.

I wish I had the funds for that thing. I've always wanted it since it flew up goodwood.

What's the actual difference between the Cygnet V8 and Super Cygnet V8?

And as for price, when viewed in order it comes above a £425k DB4

I think Nicholas Mee generally price their cars rather high, but imho that really is crazy money despite it being a one off unique car. I guess pricing it is somewhat difficult though as there is no benchmark, and in the current economic climate it will be interesting to see if it sells and at what price. BRM.

This is the best description of the car. The world is made a little better by the mere fact there was a guy with deep enough pockets to pay a bunch of mad lads in Gaydon significant sums of money to stand, looking at a Cygnet and answer the question "Wouldn't it be crazy to cram a V8 into that? I wonder if we could?"
