Porsche 996 radio upgrade

Afternoon all,
Newbie here. My old Porsche's radio packed in and I decided to replace it with an after market Blaupunkt. It appears I need a convertor for the fibre optic connection to the amp. I've spoken to several so called audio specialists and they all say different things.....
Can anyone please advise me of a suitable conversion kit to complete the job?

The adapters may still be the same.
