Gaz gold professional opinions and best springs rate
Discussion
Hi all....
As I wrote time ago I found my Cerbera real soft and not completely capable to cope rough roads.
I found a set of Gaz gold professional under my car: what is your opinions about these?
I`m thinking to rehauling the set cause it seems a straight and economical solution but I like to know yours to understand if it worth it.
I also like to know what spring rates cope better with these cause I found the car a little too soft for me but still want a road/sport use not track ones.
Please consider it is a speed six Cerbera so other suspension parts are softer too (ARB for example).
Thanks!

I'm on my 2nd set, not because they're particularly brilliant but Gaz couldn't refurb the old ones and I needed a quick turn around to replace and get the car back.
The new ones came with higher spring rates though and this made a really big difference and sounds like what you need OP. The bump stops used to get a serious work out but I don't remember bottoming out since and they are at least as compliant as the old springs. Probably as the shocks can be set softer but I don't pretend to understand the dark arts of suspension.
GG Monos are meant to be another step up from Pros and help calm down the 'skipping' sensation you sometimes get on poorly surfaced corners.
Obviously other options are available and I'd be tempted towards Tractive but they're a different ball park price wise.

Hi Andrea (again)
Not a very helpful opinion
BUT
I didn't have Fort Knox to support my account so I went for ProTechs supplied by Joolz who is THe God of Cerbera Life.
He set everything up to my desires and servicing was accurate and very good value for money.
(He even sent me 4 pairs of rubber gloves in my re-installation kit)

400 front, 350 rear on my Nitrons, eibach progressive springsByker28i said:
Well the spring is adjustable, do you have adjustable rebound as well?
Personally I like the car set soft and high to cope with our poor roads
Yes I have.Personally I like the car set soft and high to cope with our poor roads
Just checked:
Front: 4 clicks from fully close
Rear: 13/14 clicks from fully close
Seems a lot of differece but of course they have different spring rates too
Thanks to all.
Doing a little research here, seems that a lot of people like to run 500/450 (or 400) on Gaz Gold.
It's in line with what you are telling...
Is it normal to have so many different "clicks" from front to the Rear on my car?

The beauty of adjustable suspension, is that you can play about relatively easily. Certainly worth finding out how you like the car, maybe start off in the middle front and rear, and go from there.Doing a little research here, seems that a lot of people like to run 500/450 (or 450) on Gaz Gold.

Stiffer at the front will add understeer, stiffer rear will add oversteer, that sounds simplistic, but even a few clicks difference should be noticeable.

400 front, 350 rear on my Nitrons, eibach progressive springsI am on 400front 325rear. I would go with Bykers rates or even a tad higher on the rear though as, if anything, the rear feels a bit looser.
