Police doubles speed camera vans in W.Mids
Discussion
Good to see they are concentrating on the worst kind of crimes!!
Who would I rather they put resources into, more police on the streets, investigate serious crimes burglaries etc or invest in catching someone speeding I wonder.
If they invested as much money and time into other crimes I’m sure the majority would be happy. If we got to a point with low crime then yes move down the scale of infringements of the law.

Mixed feelings.
I'd happily have one parked on my street permanently.
But I see them more often sat on overpasses pointing at the M18 doing nothing other than nabbing people doing 80 odd.
There's also stories like this one today.

They're almost gloating about it. Alongside stories about crackdown on ASB and nuisance ebikes. The kind of stuff I'd expect them to be doing everyday.
