Hello, first time posting.
I have just perchased a 1994 chimaera , Its been parked up for the last 10 or so years and dont think it was used much before that. The man I had off told me he got it in 2010 and it had electrical issue then .
So its a project, I have removed the none standard gadgets and alarm with the excess wiring.
I can see two problems now , 1st the engine fan relay and fuse 3 have melted into fuse box in the passenger footwell. Fuse 3 looking from left to right is fan/horn 25 amp and the 2nd is the drivers door switch is not reading correct . I have removed the harness from the sill looking for a problem with the black wire and white/purple trace . I have got to the the dash , now it gone up behind the dash. .
I have been reading some posts on this forum and came across one from Steve_D explaining he had made his own wiring diagram from a early chimaera . I was hoping Steve_ D would read this and allow me to ask for his advice .
I do have a copy of Steve Heath book and is really good , the wiring diagram is not the best .
Any help anyone can give would be great. Thank you

I cant help much with the meltage, how bad is it?
The Tvr fuseboxes are not great to be honest so you may find you will need to rewire the fans to an external relay/s.
As for the door switches, what issue are you having?

The fan relay pins welded to the fuse box is not uncommon as the fans take a fair amount of current I believe later cars had 2 fuses one for each fan. Also the fans plug/socket by the rad again quite common to see them welded with the excess curent.

if you are very careful you may be able to remove the relay pins from the fuse box,I broke the relay just leaving the pins and with gentle manauvering and switch cleaner managed to remove them and cleaned the contacts with fine emery and a needle file.
