I'm thinking about getting a limited edition Christopher Ward watch made using their bespoke service, so minimum of 25 watches. They are pre-paid so no upfront costs.

The question is, what design?

General base models to customize are:
42mm Trident: https://www.christopherward.com/int/C60-Trident-Pr...
39mm Sealander GMT: https://www.christopherward.com/c63-sealander-gmt/...
39mm Sealander: https://www.christopherward.com/c63-sealander-auto...

I haven't chatted with them yet, but dials, hands, indices and logos are negotiable. Cases etc obviously aren't. Nor are other watches unless you want to spend more and/or increase the number of watches ordered. And you also can't make their watch look like another brand's design.

The problem is, the two watches I really want design-wise, they already produce, and I can't make any better. So how do I come up with something unique? I can think of two 'groups' that I am a part of that I might be able to get enough people to order one, just got to think of a good design concept.

How many people on here would order a Ltd Edition PH watch? biggrin

I like the look of the Sealander but don’t like the CW logos, so this could be interesting.

Sealander for me with the PH logo would be very cool.

That's hilarious, given their previous form!

39mm Sealander, white dial with the PH logo. "In Garlick we trust" engraved on the back? laugh

Good timing, I have had a call with Peter France, Business Development Manager (Bespoke) at CW in the last couple of weeks, I can make an intro for you if you PM me your email address.

Assume youll need CarGurus as the the IP owner of PH to approve the use of the logo and branding ... not sure if theyll do that royalty free TBH (I wouldnt if I was them).

Depending on the final look/design vs price I could be tempted

Yeah, I was sort of semi joking about the PH logo, I think it would look a bit naff too tbh. Plus I don't own it either.

Thanks Mike, but I already have his email, will set up a call soon. I have a couple of ideas that might work.

If someone commissioned a Bel Canto x Michael McIntyre collab, I'd be all over it:

Worn regularly for the last 12 or so years. Bashed. It’s still good.
