extensions/ planning?

looking for some input from the hive mind...
looking into purchasing a property- 2 storey end terrace (red highlighted is neighbours) 'cottage' (not really a cottage- more like a victorian house dropped into the middle of nowhere & yes it's green belt) but the downstairs layout just doesn't work for us, the current conservatory is on it's last legs & probably needs to come down immediately- so would ideally like to extend the current conservatory across the whole width of the rear, but we're a bit confused what would/ wouldn't fall under permitted development, as the property has been 2 storey extended already (green highlighted bit)
my understanding is maximum of 3m & only across the width of the original house (so basically what is already conservatory & anything else would require planning or prior approval- but thought i'd check here first in case i've misunderstood or the rules have changed
