Well, we finished and not last!
A lot of DNFs due to the wet and slippy conditions. I did poke the nose into a hedge briefly and tapped a bale, so I'm down two fog lights and indicators!

The Starter was Howard Davies who was Gwyndaf Evans Navigator. Our car is a works replica of Gwyndaf's so Howard was chuffed to see us back on the finishing podium. The car got lots of positive comments, so we were pleased with that.

Must say that all the Marshals and organisers out in that weather did a great job and many thanks to them all.

The change from the recce was significant, dry tarmac went to slimy, shiny tarmac with cars off all over the place.

Credit to the marshals who put up with the rain in the afternoon. Going round at the end we saw many new holes in hedges and scuffs up banks.

Heck it was slippery. We actually found the grip more predictable when it was wet. Good event even if our duff time on SS5 never got corrected punting us from a probable 22nd to 25th.

First in class by quite a margin though, a lot didn't make it round.
