"Enemy at the gates" or "Saving private Ryan" have some nice big-screen scenes.

digitally remastered Star Wars Episodes IV/V/VI...especially the light sabre fight scenes. Awesome!

Oh, also, what was the name of that flim with Owen Wilson where he got shot down in Serbia and hunted, with Gene Wilson also? The missile sequence in that when the jets are getting chased are, quite frankly, inspiring!

Good call. Or T2....

I've got Sin City lined up (although I've seen it) and might dust off one of the Die Hards....

Swordfish - The opening scene is brilliant.

Heat - The gun battle in the city is awesome with surround sound.

One of my mates works for a company called DB Systems, they do AV hire for shows and the like...

One of their toys is a modular plasma wall...

Apparently playing GT4 on a 6x6 (screen) plasma wall is quite fun!

oooo, good spot on Swordfish.

actually, the original Jurassic Park is still good to watch on a big screen with a good sound system!

The Rock is good for the entire film (rather than just one specific sequence)

I didn't realise people still measured screen size in inches

Film suggestions:

Equilibrium (lots of awesome fight sequences)
Spiderman (purely for the 'flying through the air scenes')
The Matrix series (but particularly the last one for the battle against the machines in the underground city)
Jurassic Park (still spectacular on a big screen)
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
House of Flying Daggers
Star Wars series (although the rest of the film is crap you need to see the pod race on that screen)
Starship Troopers (battle scenes will be amazing!)
Apocalypse Now
Black Hawk Down
Saving Private Ryan
Pitch Black
Alien series

Agree. You should see it on a projector! I have a nice 16:9 100in screen, with 5.1 and its the nutz!

Behind enemy lines, I thought it was truly, utterly, awful. It's also Gene Hackman not Gene Wilson
