Best Dash Cams for under £100
Discussion
Hi all,
it me again..
I'm looking to buy a good budget friendly cam for my new car please.
I have had a look at Halfords and the cams are over £100 with the cheapest front and rear camera £129 and then £80 for fitting.
I personally think it is too much, please your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Got a couple of Orskey dash cams (Amazon) for wife’s and daughter’s cars and they’ve both been pretty good .
Currently on there for £40 a pop.
Got the hardwire kits too, currently £17 each and wired them in myself (Adam and a Fiesta).
Loads of how to’s on YouTube and it’s pretty straightforward.

You can get apps for your phone so for the £10 or so for a dash mount and £10-20 for the app you could have a great solution. I haven’t tried them but interested to see if anyone else has?
There was noise of Google implementing this as part of their "personalised safety" app.Not sure what happened to it.

Powers up on ignition and stops the need to be powered off the auxiliary socket (fag lighter socket if you’re old school like me).
Keeps wires nice and tidy too as you dress them into head liner.
Again not too difficult and makes it all look that bit better.
The Garmin Dash Cam 47’s are £79.99 on Amazon at the moment.
Have one in my wife’s car already, ordered one for mine, which arrives today.
Seem pretty decent for the money.
A lot of inbuilt bings & bongs which can easily be switched off (my car does that safety stuff anyway..)
I have a Garmin Mini2, which i’ll move to the rear on mine.
Apparantly you can merge the views on the app, will try that!
