I'm going to do a full run on the M'bike once the weather turns better. But from my last trip it is just the Cat & Fiddle bit down to Macclesfield. Google Street view implies that is still the case. But the images are 2021.

But even on the Cat & Fiddle. Try doing 50 non stop on all the twisty buts without lifting off.

A few people have now booked onto this via our main website. Seems popular with those further east.

After the Success of the recent Snowdonia Drive It Day. I promised to push this drive out back up the thread chart as many expressed a wish to come and join us. We had 20 Cars turn up in Snowdonia. Can we do as well here?

I'm in Macc. Just letting you know the Macc - Whaley Bridge road is closed and months ago there was talk of cameras on the Whaley Bridge - Buxton route. There are cameras Buxton - Macc all along the Cat and Fiddle pass.

The only bit of this route with Fixed average speed cameras is the short section of the Cat & Fiddle, and as that is 60 MPH and very twisty, it isn't really an issue.

We are not planning on using that closed road either, and plenty of options from the Cat & Fiddle to Jodrell Bank.

Just spent 3 days on the AstonOwners.com Vanquish event, touring the Malvern's. And as we had such a great turnout on the Snowdonia run last month I'm hoping this event will be just as well attended and enjoyed by everyone.

May 25th Peak District, Cat & Fiddle Drive out and Jodrell Bank visit. Details on the main website. Meet at Rams Head, Disley, (pub), between 09:30 and 10:00. Quick breakfast for those that fancy it. Chat in the car park till 11:00. Buxton Rd W, Disley, Stockport SK12 2AE.

Fancy coming along? Just let me know on here and turn up at the start point in Disley. This is all free of charge of course.

It's 50, but still won't be any issue.

Both main ones have average speed cameras, but Buxton - Leek doesn't until you approach Leek.
