Looking for some knowledge and a supplier for rubber cord, can anyone help please? I’m on a mission to refurbish a tired trailing arm trailer axle rather than replace it with a complete new unit. It’s in great condition bar running a little low.

Suitable type and hardness etc. How to measure the existing cords. It’s a stub axle pressed inside a box section main beam, four rubber cords squished one in each corner.

Thanks!

Perhaps they could supply the rubber?

It seems like a lot of buggering about to save not very much money, even Indespension aren't that expensive.

I didn’t think it’d be much until receiving a quote approaching £500! It’s a full beam axle rather independent Indespension type units.
