I’m off on one of my bucket list trips to LM 25. Getting exited already !

Got tickets , a Grandstand and will be camping at BSJ. I generally go to France in a van in summer, so used to French roads, tolls, baguettes, red sausages , rillettes and the like, and am quite a seasoned camper.

I’ll be arriving Monday 9 June about 4 - 5 pm (traffic permitting) and staying the week

Question is, where is best place to look to pitch at BSJ. Obviously close to the entrance is a big no -no, and I want to try and avoid potential flooding and europop

I’d prefer to be close to a tree / hedge line (OCD, don’t ask,), so is it best to go into site, past the Pistonheads site then go left towards the hedge /trees or go a bit further and head to the right ?

I don’t want to be right next to the track and don’t mind a bit of a yomp to get to Porsch and the entrance (I’m also taking a fold up bike) .

Any advice please ?

Last year we camped here and loved it, a bit of a walk to the track, but no passing traffic, up against a treeline/fence, no flooding, good sunlight, would head back again if we weren't in Heux this year

We camped somewhere similar when we were there - again no passing traffic, pretty quiet, trees provided shade in the early morning too.

Be very wary of the weather. Driving into BSJ the ground slopes downwards to your left and I have seen years when all camping down there was closed and cars were not allowed. to park.

Thanks, that’s very useful to know - I may head to the right in that case as I was unsure of the fall of the land. From google maps you can see the main field has been para-ploughed and drainage installed over the years.
