997.2 C4S bootlid reflector delete?

I'll be in the market for a 997.2 C4S later this year. This might be sacrilege, but I don't like the boot lid reflector strip and much prefer this look. Anyone know what exactly they have done to achieve this? Is it a new boot lid, or has it been filled and painted? Thanks

I think it is fitted to the boot lid, so simply swap for a 2S boot lid ?
