Hi Guys,

I need some advice please. When I purchased my Elise Type 23, it came with a Pipercross induction filter (but not fitted).

I've now decided to pop it on and see what difference it makes (looking for noise difference really)...

but...

Should I stick the Pipercross on or go for a Hurricane system??

Is there really any difference or great preference?

I don't really know much about either of them so some advice would be greatly received.

Thanks guys

Regards,

Mac

Well I'm not familiar with the pipercross but I've just fitted a carbonfibre hurricane and the difference is amazing On wide open throttle a punchy "boom" at low revs builds through the midrange from a dull roar through to a lovely wailing scream as you approach the redline, it's simply fantastic! I did mine in conjunction with the Sport 160 Throttle body and there's a marked improvement in throttle response and an increased willingness to rev out

Many great reviews and better value for money than any other kit on the market. Noise along is fantastic. I few guys that use this forum have one fitted and are very happy with it. Any queries, let me know.

Piooly.

Will a different induction system change the mixture? Will the ECU compensate for this? Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Geeeez....

Yes woof woof.

Not much difference between the 2 and if you already have the Pipercross sat in the garage stick it on the car.
